Since 1833, Mercer University has been preparing men and women to take on the world. The independent institution now has more than 8,700 students enrolled in 12 schools and colleges, on major campuses in Macon and Atlanta; medical school sites in Macon, Savannah and Columbus; and at regional academic centers in Henry and Douglas counties. More than 2,200 Mercer University graduates will participate in commencement exercises over the next two weeks during five ceremonies in Macon and Atlanta. The School of Medicine kicks off the celebration on May 4, followed by the School of Law on May 11, Atlanta with two ceremonies on May 12, and Macon on May 13.

On April 19, 2024, Mercer University celebrated and officially dedicated the Atlanta campus's Tony and Nancy Moye Pharmacy and Health Sciences Center, a facility that aims to strengthen the College of Pharmacy's standard of excellence.

Multi-platinum recording artist MAX and Grammy-nominated Social House will headline this year’s Bearstock, an annual music festival presented by Mercer’s student programming board, QuadWorks. DJ Saturn and Lewis Ashe and the Locals, two acts featuring Mercerians, also will perform at the Saturday, April 13, 2024, concert on Cruz Plaza on the Macon campus. Music will go from 4 p.m. to sunset.

The graduations have come and gone, yet no one has any idea where to find, or purchase, the video of the School of Pharmacy Commencement on May 12, 2024. One would think that MU would have contracted with a video company prior to the ceremony and would have inform graduates, and families, of how to obtain the graduation video. But I digress, academia does not seem to include common sense.....
